Economics for Success, It's My Business and Personal Economics

JA Economics for Success explores personal finance and students’ education and career options based on their skills, interests, and values. JA Economics for Success is a series of six activities recommended for students in grades six, seven, and eight. The courses are held in middle schools throughout Worcester and Leominster, it is also available by request in youth-esrving agencies.

Economic Literacy- Equal Earners Savvy Spenders

Economic Literacy teaches girls a working knowledge of economic concepts in order to achieve economic independence and take charge of their lives. The program is presented as Equal Earners Savvy Spenders for girls ages 12-14. The program is run for one hour each week over a 14-week period. Fall and spring sessions of both program components are offered. Girls learn broad economic concepts as well as personal financial skills such as how to identify and count money, save, invest, budget, take informal financial risks, and prepare for careers.Read more
